Return policy

You have the right to return items and cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving your parcel. To start a return, email us at hello@emilemil.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once you have notified us about the return, you have 14 days to ship the items back to us. Gift wrap is not refundable. Free gifts included with your order must be returned as well. If free gifts are not returned, the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it. Items must be unworn or unused, with tags and in their original packaging. Used items, damaged goods, or products showing signs of wear will not be accepted or refunded. Broken product packaging including stickers will also not be accepted. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items are returned in their original condition.

Return costs are not covered by EMIL EMIL. Return costs in Denmark start at 55 DKK per parcel. Return costs within the EU depend on size, weight and destination. You can arrange shipping yourself or purchase a return label from us when available. We do not offer return labels to all destinations, and in those cases the customer is responsible for the return.

Returns must be shipped directly to our address below. Orders returned without prior notice or returned after the deadline will be rejected.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. Email hello@emilemil.com with photos of the issue so we can help resolve it.

Exceptions and non returnable items
Some items cannot be returned. This includes perishable goods such as food, plants or flowers, custom or personalized products, personal care items including beauty products, and hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases. We also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. If you are unsure about a specific item, feel free to ask us.

Exchanges
To exchange a product, return the original item using the return process above. Once the return is accepted, you can place a new order. If you prefer help with an exchange, contact us at hello@emilemil.com

Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may need extra time to process the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed after approval, contact hello@emilemil.com

European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, without giving a reason. As above, items must be returned in the same condition that you received them.

EMIL EMIL can not be held responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the customer, including address details, email or phone number.
